I am a male in my mid fifties and more recently decided that I would need to get a wee touch up on the old facial hair etc! I have never had the confidence to visit any sort of groomers and request such things as ear waxing, nasal waxing, maybe even eyebrow tinting. A friend recommended Shankey Groomers and decided to bite the bullet and go. I can only say that I was made to feel so welcome and comfortable, by Emmaline the beautician on site. Emmaline is so professional with her work, but also has a great warmth and fun about her, which made my nervous first visit end up so relaxing. I now look forward to my monthly appointments to have my grooming needs catered for and a good catch up with Emmaline. .

A 1 hour reflexology appointment with Emaline at the Ballyhackamore branch gives you a really nice boost for the day. When you book in advance you get a text reminder a few days beforehand, so you won't forget. If you really want to treat yourself, and if they can fit you in for a haircut straight after, they will.

Haven't not had a haircut in months, and giving vague instructions as to what I was looking, Jack gave me one of the best cuts I have had in a long while. Will definitely be back.

Moved over here from London a few years ago, been looking for a good barbers and usually go to Peter Olivers (Great) but thought I'd try these guys out as they are just round the corner from me. Phoned me on the day of my appointment, 30 minutes before and wanted to move my appointment as the guy who was meant to be cutting my hair couldn't do it (I presume he had another appointment) really poor service, girl on the phone didn't even say sorry. My money will be going elsewhere and I won't be recommending you guys, shocking.

Hadn’t been there in over 4 years, went in and had such a great experience, got a great haircut with excellent customer service. Couldn’t reccomend Kate any more at the east Belfast shop. What a legend

Today I had the pleasure of meeting your senior barber; Kate! Not only was my haircut one of the best I have had in a long time, the entire experience was so relaxing. Kate was so friendly and we had the best wee conversation, how she can chat so casually whilst still dancing around a barbers chair is beyond me! I had the best time in your salon today and I will certainly be back soon. You have some truly exceptional staff and I hope you treat them as well as they do for your clients, all the best and thanks again! ❤️
